Spread out the picnic, soak up the warmth of the summer sun over Narragansett Bay, and enjoy a variety of musical performances by local musicians. Wednesday nights at Blithewold are the perfect way to enjoy summer with friends and family!

Guests are encouraged to bring picnic dinners and chairs or blankets. We have 33 acres of gardens and grounds, including a 10-acre lawn, where you can enjoy the music and gorgeous views over the bay.

Preregistration is required! Walk-ins will not be accepted.

Frequently asked questions

When can I arrive?

The earliest you can arrive is 5 PM. At 5 PM you can drive down Blithewold's main driveway to check-in and then park.

Is there handicap parking?

We reserve an ample amount of spots in our parking lot. Ask about it during check-in.

Are pets allowed on the property?

No, pets aren't allowed. Please leave them at home.

Is smoking allowed?

No smoking or flames of any kind on the property.

What can bring?

You are welcome to bring, food and drinks, blankets and chairs; whatever you feel like carrying in and out. Everything you bring in with you; must leave with you.

Are trash cans avalible?

No, everything you bring in with you must leave with you. Thank you for protecting Blithewold!
