Mushrooms are packed full of nutritional and medicinal properties and easy to grow at home. We've been working with mushrooms for 30 years and love showing people how to grow at home. Join us for an afternoon to start your fungal adventures!

Many mushroom species love to grow on trees naturally. The easiest way to simulate this natural relationship is to inoculate cut logs with mushroom spawn.This is a low-tech, no waste, regenerative way to grow mushrooms and easy enough to do at home. In this afternoon workshop you will receive: &gt;&gt; Access to Chris Parker’s 30 years of experience growing and working with mushrooms&gt;&gt; Initial understanding of how mushrooms grow &gt;&gt; Overview of how mycelium creates fruiting bodies&gt;&gt; Learn how to select optimal logs&gt;&gt; Learn which woods suit which mushroom species&gt;&gt; Hands-on demonstration of how to plug logs&gt;&gt; Hand-on practice plugging a log&gt;&gt; Take home a log you have plugged ($25- 30 retail value)
