    Murcielago makes music that nods to the rock giants of the 70’s, the angsty static of 90’s grunge and the low thrum of the 2000’s Desert Rock sounds. Fuzzed out riffs with sweet spacy interludes and soaring choruses are hallmarks of Murcielago’s unique take on stoner rock. Murcielago formed in Portland, Maine in 2011 and have released 2 full length records, and their most recent release ‘Casualties’ was a top 5 release on BandCamp and Apple Music in the Stoner Rock category. Their music has been featured on local and national ads, movies and tv shows, most notably multiple episodes of ‘Mayans MC’ on Fox TV. They are known for their blistering live sets, throaty melodic vocals and analog sound.
