Multispecies Totem by e+i at Earth Matter: OPENING EVENT
Come join the opening event of e+i studio's Multispecies Totem at Earth Matter on Governors Island, NYC, with a movement performance by Yana Schnitzler HUMAN KINETICS.
This in-person event will be held at the Urban Farm of Earth Matter NY from 3-5pm:
- Reception starts at 3pm.
- Movement performance by Human Kinetics at 4pm.
The event is free but RSVP is highly recommended!
Immerse yourself in the beauty of the "zero-waste" island with a vertical totem sculpture made from robotically-generated biomaterial modules, stacked and assembled to create a welcoming environment for birds and species that we share the built environment with!
With time, our Multispecies Totem will become part of the composting cycle with Earth Matter. Come watch it in action!
