Welcome to the Multi-Hazard Inventory/Data Collection Workshop registration page!

Register for an interactive Multi-Hazard Inventory/Data Collection Workshop on January 5-7 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. PST hosted by FEMA Region 9 and a multiagency planning team. Participants will learn about community asset inventory best practices, collaborate in a variety of working groups, and walk away with the foundations for their own data collection, data management, or inventory plan. The workshop will cover the following topics:<ul><li>Day 1 – Data Sets. What are they and how are they used throughout the disaster cycle?</li><li>Day 2 – Inventory Collection. Methods, case studies, and resources for developing creative partnerships.</li><li>Day 3 – Looking Ahead. Implementing actionable plans in your community.</li></ul>Who should attend? <ul><li>Hazard mitigation, planning, hazards modeling, risk analysis, emergency management, or Geographic Information System practitioners based in the West or Pacific who are working on or interested in data collection/inventory projects of any size (ranging from neighborhood-level to statewide effort).</li><li>Academic researchers or applied scientists/engineers looking to partner with communities on data collection/inventory projects.</li></ul>Each day’s content and activities will build on each other, but we understand if you have other conflicts. Additionally, there will be optional support hours each day should you require extra technical assistance ahead of time.We look forward to hearing from you through the registration survey.
