Multi- Color Decals

The Fabville Fabrication Laboratory is housed at Somerville High School in a newly designed Engineering classroom which offers a dynamic co-working space comprised of daytime high school classes and afterschool programs for students and adults. When you arrive at the main entrance of the school, you will be greeted by a door monitor and directed downstairs slightly to the right as you enter. At the bottom of the stairs hang a left and you will have found FabVille.In order to ensure the safety of students and community members alike, all users must fill out a membership form before visiting FabVille. Bring your student or government-issued ID with you when visiting FabVille. Thank you

Learn the basics of making multi- color decals and vinyl stickers

Looking to take your custom decals or vinyl signage to the next level? Or layer? Join us for Multi-color Decals where students will learn how to create, prep and cut 2-3 colored layer decals. Take designs from any vector-based software like Inkscape or Illustrator and prepare them in CutStudio Pro for cutting. We will then go over how to “weed” designs, transfer on to each other and transfer them onto the surface of your choice. 

Basic knowledge of software like Inkscape and Illustrator recommended.
Prerequisite: signed off on the vinyl Cutter to cut it yourself, if not the instructor can for you.
