MUCHO GUSTO PRESENTS - LA DAME BLANCHE

Yaite Ramos Rodriguez, also known as La Dame Blanche, seamlessly merges her Afro-Cuban heritage with Rap, Hip Hop, Reggaeton, and Dancehall. Born in Cuba to Jesus Aguaje Ramos, the renowned artistic director of Buena Vista Social Club, music runs deep in her veins. Raised in a household filled with Cuban-Son, Salsa, and Boleros, her father gifted her a flute, sparking her musical journey.

Her talent flourished as she toured with various Cuban acts, eventually leading her to settle in Paris, France. Embracing the city's vibrant music scene, she became a pivotal figure, collaborating with Sergent Garcia and other renowned artists. It was during this time that La Dame Blanche emerged—a name she describes as both 'cheeky' and 'powerful,' reflecting her rebellious and counter-cultural spirit.

Incorporating the rebellious essence of Hip-Hop, she found a platform to express her deepest emotions, seamlessly blending it with the tropical rhythms and diasporic sounds of Reggae, Salsa, and her Afro-Cuban roots in Santeria. Now, she brings her electrifying performance to Riverside, California, debuting on Wednesday, May 8th.
