Join us for an insightful panel discussion on the hidden aspects of Boston's vibrant dance scene and how it influences representation within the dance community and related industries. This panel will spotlight the disparities in race, gender, and cultural representation, focusing on the Latin dance scene. We will highlight the stories of dancers who are often unrepresented or marginalized, shedding light on their unique challenges and contributions. By discussing these experiences, we aim to foster a deeper understanding of the systemic issues that affect these artists and the broader community.

Additionally, we will explore how dancers are represented in the economic sector, demonstrating how dance can serve as a bridge between diverse businesses and organizations. Learn about the interconnectedness of Boston's dance community and how it can be a powerful tool for fostering social and economic growth, benefiting both dancers and non-dancers alike. This will be an interactive panel featuring dancing, conversation, and engagement. We invite you to participate and connect with others in meaningful ways.

The panel will take place in person and not over Zoom . It will be recorded for those unable to join us.
