This Might Not Work in collaboration with Theory Corpse

<P><SPAN>MSHR, A collaborative project composed of Birch Cooper and Brenna Murphy, founded in 2011 in Portland, Oregon and now based in New York City. The duo produces sculptural synthesizers, ritualistic performances, and installations that place the human body into a dynamic relationship with sound and light, generating expanded sensory experiences. Influenced by East Coast peers such as Fort Thunder in Providence, Rhode Island, OPS grew from the group effort and identity that was built into the housing arrangement that the members shared. Creative collaboration was both a method and a goal. The group has exhibited at Upfor, Yerba Buena Art Center, Kunsthaus Langenthal among other galleries, museums, and cultural institutions. They have participated in festivals such as TBA Portland, Transmediale Berlin, and Via in Maubeuge, France. In 2014, they completed a five-month residency for Eyebeam Art + Technology Center New York.</SPAN></P>
