Our mission is to grow a just and sustainable community in Louisville, KY through Urban Agriculture, Urban Forestry, and Environmental Education.

Are you a home owner, property owner, business owner, gardener, or green-minded folk? Need to water your garden or yard, but want a more sustainable (and less expensive) way of obtaining water? Want to stop excess rainwater from getting into Louisville wastewater system? Come to this workshop led by MSD to learn about natural rainwater management using rain gardens and rain barrels. The $70 cost covers the cost of the rain barrel and instruction.
Plus, MSD has this amazing program called "Downspout Disconnection" -- to help you modify and correct improperly installed drainage connections, you can receive a one-time incentive of $100 for each downspout disconnected from the wastewater system on your property!
