The MSAA holds a single day 50 meter round. The target is the 6 ring 80cm face for compound shooters and a 10 ring 122cm for cub, junior cub and recurve shooters. The round consists of 6 arrow ends, for 12 ends equalling 72 arrows total.

Shooting Distances:

  • Adult men shoot from 50 meters at 6 ring 80cm target face.
  • Adult women shoot from 50 meters at 6 ring 80cm target face.
  • Seniors shoot from 50 meters at 6 ring 80cm target face.
  • Young Adults (15-17) shoot Adult distances at 6 ring 80cm target face.
  • Youth (12-14) shoot from 50 meters at 6 ring 80cm target face.
  • Cubs (8-11) shoot from 30 meters at 10 ring 122cm target face.
  • Junior Cub (7 and under) shoot all their arrows from 30 meters at 10 ring 122cm target face.
  • All recurve archers will shoot from 50 meters at the 10 ring 122cm face.

Online Registration Fees: The additional fees above the normal registration cost are the costs to process the credit card payments, and are strictly a pass-through cost. The MSAA does not gain these fees in any way.

Online Pre-Registration closes the Sunday, June 2nd at 11:59pm. All late registrations will need to be done on-site one half hour prior to the start time.

Practice will be from 8am until 8:30am Sunday June 9th.

The MSAA connects archers, archery clubs, and pro-shops across the state of Minnesota to promote the sport of archery. While the MSAA does not own or operate a specific range, it partners with clubs and members to host several state tournaments throughout the year.
