About this event

MS 101 is a free 2-hour class for anyone newly-diagnosed (diagnosed in the last 5 years) and their support partners in a small-group setting that allows for a frank discussion tailored specifically to the day's attendees. The presenters go over the basics of MS, how our understanding of the disease has changed over the years, and what we know today. You are encouraged to bring your questions to the table. Topics can range from “what is MS?” to the diagnosis process, the symptoms, an overview of available treatment options, and what you can do daily to maximize your wellbeing.

MS 101 sessions are led by Elissa Berlinger, LCSW and MS Educator, and Kelsey Morrow, RMMSC Education Manager.

Registration is required! You only need to claim 1 ticket per household/computer, you may have your support partners participate with you without claiming additional tickets. If people will be participating from another location please have them claim a ticket to get the link. (Leave questions in the comment box when you register and we will reach out to you)

PLEASE NOTE: MS 101 attendance is limited. We require registration at least 24 hours in advance. If the session you've chosen is less than 24 hours away, please email us to see if accommodations can be made at education@mscenter.org.
