The Metro Parks' disABILITIES Sports Leagues (MPDSL) will be hosting a 6 week Bocce League on Fridays at the Centennial Sportsplex.

The Metro Parks' disABILITIES Sports Leagues (MPDSL) will be hosting a 6 week Bocce League at the Centennial Sportsplex.  League Games will be played on the following Fridays from 10:00am-12:00pm (weather permitting). 

April 1st, 8th, 22nd, & 29th, May 6th & 13th (No Bocce on 4/15 - Good Friday)

Schedule

  • 10:00-10:15 Court Assignments
  • 10:15-11:00 Game 1
  • 11:00-11:45 Game 2
  • 11:45-12:00 Clean-up & Dismissal

Athletes should stay at least 6 feet apart at all times. Masks are not required, but encouraged if you cannot remain socially distant. Athletes should bring their own water bottles (water fountains are closed), and a chair if needed. We will remain outside for the duration of the event, but bathrooms will be available.

Activities are weather dependent and will be cancelled if any of the following conditions are met:

  • Temperature below 55*F
  • Rain or Forecasted Rain Chances over 50%
  • Wet or Muddy Field Conditions

Announcements for weather cancellations will be made ASAP, but if in doubt please call before you come.

There is no fee to participate in the Leagues, but all athletes must have a valid Sports Physical (Special Olympics physicals are accepted) and an MPDSL Sport Waiver completed.
