Moving On Workshop Nettleton
Date and time
A movement sound installation for local residents to experience and exchange about our sense of community and environment.
About this event
Please bring your phone (charged) and headphones!
Based on the project Moving On, this workshop serves to connect people and environment by tapping into the treasure of somatic practices wherein the body and social self become more grounded and able to connect to what is going on in our lives because we stand in dialogue with people and nature; our extended ecosystems of support. That way we can generate some strong social, physical and natural glue to keep us going together.
Facilitated by Exit Map dance and sound artists and Nettleton co-op. We will meet at Nettleton and then go for a walk together to visit a local green space.
This workshop is suitable for adults and older children/ teens but you are very welcome to bring all your family as long as you make sure your children stay with you.
Please book a FREE ticket to RSVP so we know you are coming.

FYI: The next Moving On event will be in New Cross Gate Cutting, a nature reserve that the Wildlife Trust is looking after. 08.05 and 15.05.2022 at 11.30am. A very special opportunity as this reserve only rarely opens its doors to the public. After that we will be in Beckenham Place Park 5th and 12th of June and in July in Mountsfield Park. Check www.exitmap.org/moving-on for details.
