What it is

Moving On invites a personal improvisation movement practice by carving attention to sensory input, experiential anatomy and imagery. People engage with it in parks across London and further afield in Europe. Conceived for lockdown it allows one's practice to unfold in relation to others while keeping a safe distance. We propose large open spaces for people to move alone yet see each other and visually connect.

The guide is for all ages and backgrounds as you can and shall it to your needs.

Set in public spaces Moving On is visible to the public. The transparency of movement explorations offers an opportunity for the public to witness how dance unfolds when we engage with our environment and it is an opportunity for you to become more comfortable in your body amongst people.

Format

1) You register and receive an audio and information where to begin in a specific location (unless you practice alone - booking link: Further Afield)

2) On the day you bring a charged device (phone or mp3), headphones, and the audio link to the place described to you at the time described to you. (Come a little early to orient)

3) Press play as much on time as possible (without freaking out if you come a bit late - however you can also press play if you are still on your way ... though ideally, not :)
