Enjoy a unique hour-and-a-half yoga practice which combines elements of Bhakti, Hatha, Yoga Nidra, and Pranayama! Carmen is a 300-hr trained teacher with the Integral Yoga Institute.
Bhakti: Class starts with gentle Sanskrit chanting, you may join in or just lay back and soak up the healing vibrations.
Asana: Postural practice. This includes warm ups, sun salutations linked with the breath, and gentle stretching and strengthening poses held for 3-5 breaths. For advanced practitioners, there will be time to workshop advanced postures and inversions.
Yoga Nidra: Relaxation practice! Learn to let the body relax deeply to allow yourself to go beyond the body and mind and rest in deep being-ness.
Pranayama: In preparation for a short meditation, we will practice Pranayama, breathing practices intended to enhance energy and attention in the body/mind.
