Description: Conflict isn’t the enemy—avoidance is. In equity and justice-oriented work, our ability to address conflict directly and compassionately can determine the health of our relationships and the impact of our work.

Join facilitator and trainer Ashley Johnson (Flower Effect) for a powerful 2-hour online workshop on navigating conflict in organizations, community, and collaborative spaces. This workshop offers practical tools rooted in racial equity, restorative justice, and healing-centered engagement. You’ll leave with more confidence, clarity, and compassion around conflict.

This workshop is for anyone looking to learn how to navigate conflict differently. Whether you're working in social justice, education, healing, community organizing, or nonprofit spaces, especially those interested in racial equity, restorative practices, or trauma-informed work.

Do I need to have prior facilitation or conflict training experience?

Nope! This workshop is beginner-friendly and welcomes folks at any stage of their practice. Whether you’re just starting or looking to refresh your approach, there’s space for you.

Will the session be recorded?

We offer solidarity seats and a sliding scale to increase access. If cost is still a barrier, reach out to flowereffect@pm.me and we’ll do our best to work with you.

Is this only for people of color?

No. While Flower Effect centers healing and liberation for BIPOC communities, this workshop is open to all who are committed to doing learning and practicing accountability.

Can I bring my team?

Yes! Groups are welcome. Email flowereffect@pm.me for a custom group rate if you're bringing 3 or more participants.

How do I prepare for the workshop?

You’ll receive a short welcome email with tips for creating a grounding space for yourself, as well as any materials we may use together. Come with a journal and an open heart.
