Navigating the psychiatric system? Receive a $50 online gift card for completing this 8-hour training opportunity designed for folks who are at risk of psychiatric hospitalization or have previously navigated the psychiatric system, though friends and loved ones are welcome to attend as well.

Topics include: strategies to navigate or support someone in emotional distress, alternatives to hospitalization in Massachusetts, strategies to stay out of the hospital, and rights and laws in Massachusetts.

This training will be held online:

Wednesday, May 21st ~ 9am-1pm Eastern Time

Thursday, May 22nd ~ 9am-1pm Eastern Time

NOTE: This training is specifically for people in Massachusetts who have lived experience navigating the psychiatric system or are personally at risk of psychiatric hospitalization, and their friends or family members who are supporting them in attending this training. We invite others who are interested in this topic, but do not have this personal experience or are from out-of-state, to reach out to info@wildfloweralliance.org to inquire about other training opportunities.

Grievance Policy: If you have a grievance regarding this training, please notify info@wildfloweralliance.org as soon as possible. You can also call 413-539-5941 ext. 320 to make a complaint. Grievances should include: your name, address, phone number, the title of training, and a description of the grievance. The Director of Training along with the Executive Director will seek to resolve the grievance as soon as possible. If necessary, they will bring the complaint to other appropriate staff within the Wildflower Alliance's umbrella organization, The Western Massachusetts Training Consortium, for group consideration. A written response, including any necessary action to be taken, will be provided to the individual within 30 days of the date of the grievance. Records of all grievances will be kept confidentially by the Wildflower Alliance for a period of seven years.
