We've always said that we believe in the power of social yoga, so we're putting the party back in politics with this monthly activism yoga class. You can call it Down Dogs & Democracy. We call it MOVEMENT.
Every month we invite non-profits doing important work in Los Angeles and beyond. 100% of all profits from this class will be divided between those organizations.
After class, we will share a half-priced beer courtesy of Indie Brewing Co while chatting with some like-minded people about how we're going to save our world.
10.45am - 75-minutes of YOGA
12.00pm - SOCIAL ACTIVISM (+ beer)
Topics include:
- Women's Empowerment
- Climate Change
- LGBTQ+ Rights
- Criminal Justice Reform
- Sensible Gun Solutions
- Immigration Reform
Details:
- Please bring your yoga mat and a towel.
- Please arrive 15 minutes before class to check in and set up your mat.
- Walk-up ticket price is $20.
- Class is held inside the brewery taproom.
- Parking is FREE and plentiful in the brewery parking lot.
- ALL yoga experience levels are welcomed and encouraged!
- You will receive 1 half-priced beer, redeemable at the end of class. No yoga under the influence!
