Movement Modules is a Pilates-inspired movement class designed to build mobility, stability, and body awareness while encouraging curiosity about how your body moves. Through a combination of guided exercises, movement exploration, and thoughtful prompts, participants will develop strength, coordination, and confidence without focusing on performance or achieving a specific ideal. This class emphasizes meeting your body where it is each day. Exercises can be modified for a variety of abilities, movement backgrounds, and comfort levels, making the class accessible to anyone interested in moving with greater ease and awareness. Expect a supportive environment where exploration and personal discovery are valued alongside physical conditioning.Whether you're looking to improve mobility, enhance stability, reconnect with your body, or simply enjoy moving in a new way, this class offers practical tools and playful opportunities for exploration. What to bring: Comfortable clothing you can move in and water. A yoga mat is recommended. Participants may also choose to bring yoga blocks and/or a foam roller. Chairs will be available for additional support and modifications. The City of Austin is committed to compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Reasonable modifications and equal access to communications will be provided upon request. For assistance, please contact 512-974-3917 or Relay Texas 7-1-1.
