Movement Explored

Join Artistic Director, Olivia Ratliff, and Resident Choreographer, Will Smith, as they introduce and discuss the fundamental elements from classical ballet, the shift into contemporary styles, story telling through dance, Southern Appalachian Dance Collective repertoire, dance in Appalachian, and more. Selections from ‘Don Quixote’ and ‘Carousel’ along with selections from SADC repertory pieces ‘LEON’, ‘From a Mind’, ‘A Day in the Life-For Jon’, and ‘Appalachian Awakening’. There will also be regional debuts of works by Eva Burcher, Ryan Cook, Maddie Jackson, Will Smith, and Bobby Wheeler. This is going to be a collection of dance that you do not want to miss!
