JÄMI DEVA

JÄMI is the new steward of Ecstatic Dance SF and the Founder of MOVEMENT Church - and a Vibrational Architect who lives in Hawaii, designing potent life-changing experiences for tens of thousands worldwide in live workshops, breathwork empowerments and ecstatic dances since 2010.

Studying and practicing with the Sufi's for over 20 years, Jämi is a visionary producer with an ear for the exotic. A true musicologist, Jämi sources and rides the emergent wave of sonic innovation. His mixes span all genres and tempos of dance music serving up an alchemical elixir of multi-dimensional sound wizardry. Jämi elegantly plays live percussion during his set which uniquely activates the shamanic potential of the dance floor. His beats are a ceremonial carnival of epic proportion. His artistry is truly unique - he is gifted and clearly called to hold some very new and transformational frequencies.

CANDICE HOLDORF // movement facilitator

Candice is a writer and coach with a focus on reclaiming erotic embodiment through exploring shame and shadow. She brings her passion for movement, play, and creative self-expression to her work as a group facilitator. She has trained in various healing modalities such as yoga and orgasmic meditation as well as studied Alexander Technique and theatrical movement while getting her BFA at NYU. theorgasmiclife.com

GABRIEL DIAMOND // movement facilitator

Gabriel is a long-time dancer who has practiced many modalities of conscious movement. He has developed a passion for exploring how blindfolds can be be used as a medicine and tool for transcending biases, cravings, and aversions. His work as an artist explores the intersection of activism, street theatre, shadow work, and embodiment. He is the co-founder of Vulnerable Rally. Blindfolded Contact - Surrendering to Our Inner Sight

Blindfolded Contact Dance is a slow and gentle experience—for both beginners and experienced dancers alike. The constraint of the blindfold invites dancers to explore other senses to find connection, expression, pleasure, and safety. These workshops take participants on a journey of somatic self-discovery and non-verbal consent via solo and group exercises—both with and without blindfolds.

A Consensual Environment

*** As we come together in sacred movement practice, let us remember to embody the values of consent and mindfulness. May we dance in reverence for each other's boundaries, always seeking clear permission before engaging in physical connection, and maintaining awareness of the sacred space we share with our fellow dancers.

Ecstatic Dance is a Freeform Conscious Dance,

Mixed by a Seasoned DJ for a Continuous Sonic Journey.

Move however you wish, without verbal guidance, shoes, or booze.

Music will flow through various Tempos, Genres, Intensities, and Emotions, so that Dancers may Experience, Express, and Transform their own Energies on the Dancefloor Together.

Ecstatic Dance can be your:
