Click here to subscribe to our text messages.Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers (BOSS)is a Family and Morale, Welfare, and Recreation program for single Soldiers. This program is Soldier-driven, with a foundation in giving single service members an avenue to surface issues and recommend policy changes that will enhance the overall quality of life, to participate in recreation and leisure activities of their choice, and to contribute to and participate in their local communities. This program provides an opportunity to assist in the development of single Soldiers and leaders.The BOSS Council organizes and conducts activities for single Soldiers. These activities include trips to the beach, 5K runs, gaming tournaments, car shows, white water rafting, trips to off-post entertainment venues, and activities/parties in the BOSS Center. The BOSS facility boasts big screen televisions, gaming systems, free Wi-Fi, a pool table, ping pong, and a new movie theater.The Fort Drum BOSS program is proud to offer a safe, alcohol- and drug-free environment for Soldiers to enjoy themselves.Fort Drum BOSS is open to all single Soldiers, to include single parents and geographical bachelors, National Guard and Reservists on active duty status for more than 30 days. We welcome all ranks: enlisted and officers. While single Soldiers take priority, married Soldiers are welcome to participate as well.

Fort Drum Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers - BOSS

Fort Drum BOSS proudly presents the Mountain Mudder! The Mudder starts at Monti Physical Fitness Center, winds through Remington Park, and finishes at the Winner's Circle Sports Bar. This is not a timed event and is mainly presented as a team-building, creative, and fun fitness alternative for Fort Drum's Army community.
 
FAQs
When do ticket sales end?
You can pre-register until August 8 with the cut off time at 3:30pm. If there is still space available the morning of the event you can register at $30.
How long is the course?
The Mountain Mudder is 5.5 miles and 15+ best-in-class obstacles designed to drag you out of your comfort zone.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Must be DOD ID Card Holder, 18 years of age or older.
What stuff will I get?
You will get 5.5 miles of excitment, over 15 obstacles, Gallons of Grade-A Mud, Performance Finisher T-Shirt, swag, and an after party with beverages, food, and music.

 What's the refund policy?
For refunds, please note that there are no refunds.
 Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
Tickets are non-transferrable.
 Can I volunteer at this event?
YES!
We have something for everyone who wants to volunteer, from setting up the event site, being the first to greet thousands of Mudders, cheering them on as they are challenged through a series of obstacles, putting those hard-earned headbands on or joining our industry leading medical team.
Whatever you do as a volunteer, you’ll be at the heart of it all, creating life-changing experiences for everyone – including yourself.
