About this event

Join us to support the health of the communities’ tree canopy by lending a hand! Mount Vernon-Belvedere Association and Midtown are co-hosting a volunteer tree planting event from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday, October 28th.

There will be trained tree keepers on staff to provide direction and tools provided for planting. Volunteers will meet across from Baby's on Fire at 1010 Morton St. and split into teams, and complete plantings throughout the neighborhood. No experience is necessary to participate, and all are welcome!

We wish to thank the following partners: MVBA, MVBA Trees, Baltimore Tree Trust, for their operational support and expertise, Baltimore Community ToolBank for their blue tools rentals and to Chesapeake Bay Trust Urban Tree Grant for financial support.

Thank you to all who have made this possible.
