2024 Theme is Buzzing Blooms: A Celebration of Flora and the Vital Role of Pollinators
1.) The Juried Art Show. Artists can submit artwork to our Juried Art Show to win tiered prizes and display their artwork for our community. Juried Art Show submissions require a small entry fee.
What we need from you:
You may submit up to 3 pieces to be juried into the show.
2D art may be a maximum size of 24”W x 36”H.***Hanging art should be wired and ready for gallery hanging. No claw, or sawtooth, etc.
3D art must be mobile and easily transportable. Please ensure that you provide the dimensions of your work when you submit the photos.
To apply, each piece must be photographed so that the jury may view your work. Remember, the details are important to ensure your work has the best opportunity to be selected for the show. Please also provide an Artist photo and brief bio so we can promote you and the event and share them with our wonderful community. Please email us your photos and brief bio by 5/4/2024. Please send emails to artsmountholly@gmail.com.
We will notify you by 5/11/2024 if your artwork has been selected.
The day of the show, artwork should be delivered to the Municipal Building between 9:00 and 10:00. Please come and enjoy the show, announcement of Awards, and be prepared to take your work home if it doesn't sell during the show.
2.) Enjoy the Arts and Business Crawl “Crawl” in our historic Mount Holly downtown district. The crawl is from 10 am to 2 pm, and artists are to network, promote, and sell their creations at one of our local businesses. We hope you will take part of your day before the Juried Art Show and enjoy the Art Crawl, do some shopping, and dine in one of our local restaurants.
At the conclusion of the crawl portion of the event, our Juried Art Show will begin at 2:30 PM. The Juried Art Show will be at The Grand Hall at 400 E Central Avenue, Mount Holly NC.
