Appropriate for those who are new to motivational interviewing or looking to brush up on the topic, this session has been designed to focus on the importance of engagement skills in the change process. Attend this session and learn an evidenced-based approach to creating a collaborative, goal-oriented dialog with an individual to help increase their readiness for positive change.

Montgomery County Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services has been approved by the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist Board to offer continuing education credit hours to Counselors and Social Workers (Provider #RCS111304) and has approved this training for 2.75 hours of Continuing Education.
