Celebrate Mom this Mother's Day by making beautiful crafts and a beautiful memory! This Mother's Day workshop is great for learning mosaic basics and experimenting with glass pieces to make a beautiful work of art or piece of home decor.

Students may choose to mosaic either a small wooden heart picture frame or shadow box. Materials include stained glass, mirror, and various found materials. Mosaics are made using the direct method of mosaic fabrication. Our adhesive is a thin-set mortar (concrete).

This workshop is open to all levels- no experience necessary. All materials will be included (however students are welcome to bring supplemental materials)!

Frequently asked questions

What's the parking situation?

Our studio doesn't have a parking lot, however there are many in the area- including directly behind the building! We recommend using the lot in Blossom Plaza, as it is owned by the city and affordable. Metered parking is free on Mother's Day (Sunday).

Can I bring additional materials to include in my mosaic?

Yes! Participants are welcome to bring seashells, stones, crystals, tiles, broken pottery, or any other materials to include in their mosaics.

Are children allowed to participate?

Yes, participants as young as 10 are allowed to sign up as long as they are joined by a parent or guardian who is also participating in the workshop.

Do you have any additional art classes for Mother's Day?
