Motherhood Moon Circle: Gatherings For Black & Indigenous Women
Come join us for a special gathering tailored for Black & Indigenous Women on their journey to conception, pregnancy, to newly postpartum mothers! Here we connect, share stories, and honor the sacred journey of motherhood. This event is a safe space where we can come together, support each other, and celebrate our unique experiences. Let's embrace the power of sisterhood and the magic of the moon as we navigate the joys and challenges of motherhood. Join us for an evening of community, healing, and connection. We can't wait to see you there!
🌷How to prepare: Take a spiritual bath, be mindful of your food consumption, and what you consume energetically the days leading up to the circle. Arrive 15 minutes early as once we begin the cleansing ritual there will be no entry to maintain the integrity of the space.
🌷 Dress code: ALL WHITE - no exceptions. Guests typically remove their shoes upon entry. This circle we are exploring our Root Chakra energy so feel free to jazz up your all white with red accents: headscarf, lipstick, jewelry - symbolizing the Root chakra's energy of grounding and stability. Complementing this theme, we'll be serving complimentary strawberry infused water with a red fruit spread to further align with the Root chakra's energy.
🌷 Location: Once your ticket is purchased you will receive the exact address to the Healing House located near downtown Lithonia. Please note that Parking is plentiful.
🌷Accommodations: Yoga mats, floor pillows, and floor seating with back support is available for our guests. Ceremonial Plant medicine hapeh will be available at future circles.
🌷 What to Bring: Lastly, we kindly request that you come with an open mind and heart - and a journal and a pen :)
The Motherhood Moon Circle was created when I laid the foundation of my doula practice, Earthside with Evonna Birth Services. It is a sacred space specifically centering Black mothers where we come together, gather, and experience healing and wholeness. In our circle, you'll find a nurturing environment where you can freely express yourself, connect with fellow mothers, vibe with the energy of the group, and release any emotional or energetic burdens that may be hindering you on your journey toward motherhood. This is a safe haven where you can explore and address the challenges & barriers—from conception to transitioning into the mother you aspire to be.
