About this event

  • 1 hour
  • We know this is a special time in your life and we want to support you in every way possible. Prenatal education is a great way to prepare yourself and your support partner for this exciting, free class offering.

How does it work?

• PART 1: SELF-PACED ONLINE LEARNING (Takes about 6-8 hours to complete): The first part of this class is completed in the comfort of your home on your own time with the Understanding Birth E-Class. You will learn all about the birth process through instructive video clips, birth stories, animations, and interactive games. The online class provides you with the opportunity to write down notes and questions to take with you to the second part of the class. To register for this portion of classes, simply click here to register for Part 1 Prenatal Classes.

*It is strongly encouraged to complete E-Class prior to attending the in-person class.

• PART 2: JOIN A LIVE Q&A Class Session (1 hour): During the second part of the class, you join a live class taught by a certified childbirth educator where you will be able to ask questions, participate in activities and discussions, practice labor techniques, and meet other expectant families. This class will be held in the West Wing Conference Room and include a tour of The Birthplace. (By completing this registration, you will be able to attend.)
