Mother and Son Dining Etiquette Tutorial

The Etiquette and Leadership Institute of Indiana (ELII) was established in March 2008 with the goal of educating young people in the areas of manners, civility, rules of etiquette and building a foundation of social skills to instill kindness and respect for others.  We work with ages 5-7 (Little Ambassadors); 8-13 (Young Diplomats); and 14-18 (Young Professionals).ELII collaborates with nonprofits, after-school programs, churches, elementary, middle and high schools.  In additions to providing individual coaching services.We are especially proud to be associate with the Etiquette and Leadership Institute in Athens, Georgia and the Protocol School of Washington, DC (PSOW).  Our curriculum is taught around the world by numerous etiquette consultants, providing a foundation for manners and understanding the rules of etiquette.

This five-course meal will teach your son and grandson the correct tips of dining etiquette while dealing with unique dining situations.

Undoubtedly, your son (young or old) has (or will) experience awkward moments at the table during their dining experience. For instance, they are dropping a fork on the floor and wondering whether to pick it up or leave it there. Or, have you been seated next to an adult and did not know what to say? The Etiquette and Leadership Institute of Indiana invites mothers, sons, grandmothers, and grandsons to the "Mother and Son Dining Etiquette Seminar." Location: Sullivan's Steakhouse, Keystone at the Crossing, (3316 E 86th St, Indianapolis, IN 46240) Date: April 2, 2023 Time: 12:45 - 4:00 PM (Arrive at 12:45 PM - presentation begins at 1:00 PM)Cost: $100.00 (all-inclusive; five-course meal, gratuity, and taxes) Meal type: based on individual request (vegetarian or specific dietary requirements) Attire: The appropriate casual attire for young men is dress slacks or chinos, a button-down shirt, dark socks, and dress shoes. Please do not wear jeans or shorts, athletic socks, and no tennis shoes.Young men ages: 8 - 18 yrs. This five-course meal will teach your son and grandson the basics and advanced tips of dining etiquette while dealing with how to manage unique dining situations, as well as:1. Escorting a young lady as a gentleman should 2. How to master the restaurant menu 3. Making an Introduction while dining (using the eight ingredients of an introduction) 4. ABCs of table manners 5. Toasting savvy6. Tipping rules7.
