Is the workshop kid-friendly?

Yes indeed! Kids are very welcomed to join the workshop. We've had kids from about 5 or 6 and they're created some of the more creative work that we've seen.

Do I have to care for the moss after I bring it home?

Accepted Answer

No. The moss used is preserved moss. Preserved moss does not require any maintenance. No watering, no sunlight, no trimming required. Just hang, sit back and enjoy your masterpiece!

What times are your classes?

There will be 3 time slots to choose from, each class is for 1 hour 30 mins. Pick the one that works best for you: 11am, 2pm, 5pm.

How many times have you done moss art workshops?

As we make our own moss products for customers  in our store, doing workshops to teach attendees how to create their own is a natural extension, empowering people to get creative. To-date, we've done at least 7 workshops, with more in the pipeline.

Is the workshop location metro-accessible?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the metro stop is the Rockville Station, and it's a 5-minute walk from the metro. Take the bridge across, it's much more pleasant than crossing Rockville Pike. : )

What kind of glue do you use?

We use Tacky Glue which is a non-toxic glue which dispenses from a bottle, easy to use for adults & kids. Hot glue guns are also available for use.

Question 7

I don't have time to do the workshop, but would like to purchase a moss art. Do you sell them?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we create moss art decor for our customers near and far, including overseas customers in Canada and Europe. The round moss is retailed at $130. https://potahtohome.etsy.com/listing/1333065126

We have a group of people who would like to take the workshop. Do you do private classes?

Accepted Answer
