Mosquito Bite Prevention Workshop
Learn about different mosquito bite protection behaviors and products from researchers at the Florida Medical Entomology Laboratory (FMEL).
Mosquitoes are well known for causing itchy bites, but some have the potential to vector dangerous disease. One of the best ways to protect yourself is with the right repellent!
Explore a wide range of different mosquito bite protection behaviors and products and find the one that works for you.
This interactive session will include:
- A short, hands-on presentation with show-and-tell of bite prevention products
- Optional, anonymous pre- and post-workshop surveys to assess learning and potential changes in preferences
- A chance to learn about Sarasota County Mosquito Management operations and services
All attendees will receive free repellent.
