Host Family Cookout and Pool Party (Thursday July 4th, 2024)

Sip a cocktail or eat some good food with the host family, Brent and Charlene Morring. Registration is limited to this free event. Register early.

We are honored to host this year's Morring Family Reunion and extend our warmest invitation for you and your family to join us. This reunion will be epic and we earnestly desire your presence.

We encourage everyone to go "ALL ACCESS" for the full reunion experience; however, we also have à la carte options for you to tailor your unforgettable experience.

Frequently asked questions

I am traveling from out of town, where should I stay?

It depends upon whether you want to be close to the host family home or you prefer to be more centrally located. Hilton Garden Inn Chesapeake/Suffolk and Town Place Suites Suffolk are close to host. Norfolk Waterside Marriott is centrally located. Please refer to the info packet for details.

What if I do not want to attend all events

Registration can be done according to your budget and your preferences. We highly encourage everyone to attend the Main Reunion event on Saturday evening. Choose to attend all or join us for the Main Event, we want to see you!

When is the last day to register?

Registration and fees are due on or before June 15, 2024 (due to costs and various deposits with vendors associated with planning the family reunion). We recommend you register and pay early because registration will close early once we reach capacity.

What is the refund policy?

Because this is an event that requires a great deal of planning, costs, and various deposits with vendors, NO REFUNDS will be provided. No exceptions to this rule.

Why are there no options for t-shirts for infants/toddlers

If you have a toddler or infant, contact the host. Special exceptions may apply.

The Host Family Cookout and Pool Party is free, do I still have to register?

Yes! To attend the Host Family Cookout and Pool Party, you have to register for at least one (1) paid event.

Can we drive our own vehicle to the Bus Tour?

No. The Guided Bus Tour is a ticketed event that will include guided tour and lunch. All participants must ride the bus.

Are there any nightlife activities for the young at heart?

The local host family has assigned several YOUNG MORRINGs to communicate and arrange nightlife activities for those who dare to stay up past 9:30 pm! Check out the Morring Family Reunion Facebook page.

Will there be activities for kids?

Plenty of activities will be provided for everyone during the events, including the kiddos. In addition, the Hampton Roads area has so many options, such as the Virginia beach, Nauticus, Norfolk Zoo, Virginia Beach Aquarium, Water Country, to name a few!
