About this event

Step into this oasis nestled within our London urban landscape that is bursting with life and color! Here, we invite you to embark on a moving journey to connect with nature.

We will begin with a gentle warm-up session, an invitation to tune into your body and the world around you. Subtle stretches will prepare you for a deeper exploration of the gardens.

Equipped with your phone and headphones (that you need to bring!) you'll embark on a guided audio tour that awakens your senses and an embodied connection with the natural world.

These audios include offers for you to move and find a greater mobility and freedom to move with nature; that may also be pausing or witnessing if you like. They were created by local and UK wide dance artists whose work with the body emphasises movement as a relational practice that allows us to connect to others, spaces and actions, interoception and somatics.

After the morning practice there is space to come together, meet and exchange while enjoying a tea or coffee.

For the volunteers of this garden this is a time to arrive, check in, get ready for the day and share about what they want or need to do. You are invited to join and listen to get to know how this voluntary run organisation is creating this magical place.

And who knows, maybe you will stay on for some gardening.
