The documentary "More Than Our Skin" delves into the profound impact of living with Vitiligo by sharing the journeys of five remarkable women: Valarie, Millicent, Patricia, Alicia, and Katrina. Vitiligo, an autoimmune disease causing loss of skin pigment cells and resulting in patchy discoloration, leads to feelings of depression, social stigma, and isolation. Through their stories, this film portrays how these women discovered inner strength beyond their struggles, a newfound resilience, and a shared purpose to guide others towards embracing life to the fullest.
