ParadiseMoves shares stories through movement that inspire conversation.Words are tricky and don't always capture what we truly mean to say, that's why we dance. Using the universal language of movement as a means of storytelling allows our audience tofeel first and think later.You don't have to be a dancer to understand and appreciate ParadiseMoves. We welcome audience members from all walks of life. We embrace inclusiveness and accessibility in ALL art—to share everyone's story. We create work that invites all folks regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, ability, socio-economic status, and national identity into our world.Our unique choreographic style fuses acting and dance techniques and values honesty and collaboration above all else. We aim to provoke thought, discover meaning, and cultivate empathy. We share stories that inspire change, ask difficult questions, and give voice to those who need to be heard.Our work creates conversations within communities; we aim to share and not to tell.So, come with us and move and be moved!

ParadiseMoves

Join us for a night of celebrating community and strength, at the second annual More than Moves Festival! The More than Moves Festival threads together the power of art, collaboration, and storytelling to benefit <A HREF="https://www.facebook.com/thousecambridge/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Transition House</A> — Cambridge's domestic violence agency for community education, outreach, and intervention. For one night, artists from all around the Greater Boston area will come together to recognize the members of the Transition House community through art; all the artists have been inspired by the phrase 'survivors are thrivers'. This is something you do not want to miss!
*All proceeds from the More than Moves Festival will go to Transition House.
