About this event

Join your fellow North Carolina homeschool friends on May 10, 2024, at The Country Club of Whispering Pines, for the 2nd Annual Moore County Homeschool Prom! This event is for rising 9th graders and graduating seniors to celebrate the hard work you have put in during the school year!


Your ticket includes a seated dinner, a signature mocktail to toast your friends, and a raffle ticket for a special giveaway! Prom King and Queen will also be chosen at random from our attending seniors.

TICKETS:

Each student attending will need to purchase a ticket. If your guest is a non-homeschooled student, please provide their school and grade level when purchasing their ticket. Please note on your student ticket if you would like the vegetarian option for dinner.


Chaperones and/or Parents Meals:

MCHSP will have a select amount of tables and seats for parents wanting to have dinner. If you only want to chaperone, and not eat please select the CHAPERONE ticket option. If you would like to eat at the event, you MUST purchase a MEAL ticket (Limited availability for both). First come first serve.


Admittance and Attire:

Your ticket MUST be in your name, not your parents and on the Moore County Homeschool Prom list for entry. NO tickets will be sold at the door. Please be thoughtful when choosing your dress; be comfortable and modest according to your beliefs. Jeans are allowed but only if they are dark, have no rips, tears or stains.


Conduct Agreement:

Attendees agree to respect the authority of all chaperones and Country Club of Whispering Pines staff. Attendees agree to stay within the physical boundaries set for the event. We want you to have a fun and memorable evening while respecting yourself and others around you.

Absolutely no tobacco, alcohol, weapons, smoking devices, vaping, or drugs of any nature are permitted at the prom or on Country Club of Whispering Pines property. Medical or emergency devices, such as Epi-pens, inhalers, or the like, are allowed and should be noted on the registration form.

No oversized bags or backpacks will be permitted. Ladies may carry a handbag.

No transportation to or from the event will be provided by MCHSP or Country Club of Whispering Pines. ALL children must be picked up by 10:30. ALL ATTENDEES MUST VACATE THE PROPERTY NO LATER THAN 11 pm. Please plan accordingly.

Mature and respectful behavior is expected for the duration of the event.

All attendees must read this Conduct Agreement as part of the registration process and are expected to abide by this agreement.

By allowing your teen to attend this event, parents agree to hold harmless Moore County Homeschool Prom, its organizers, volunteers, chaperones, and ALL staff of the Country Club of Whispering Pines, and any of their agents or representatives, in the event of offense, accident, or injury arising from participation in the Moore County Homeschool Prom.

What is your refund polciy?

All ticket sales are final unless the prom is cancelled or rescheduled.

Can I bring a guest who isn't homeschooled?

YES. Please have them purchase their own ticket and list their current grade and what school they attend.

Do I have to live in Moore County to attend?

NO. This event is for all students in North Carolina who are homeschooled or missed their high school prom. We welcome all North Carolina students.

What is the age minimum to attend?

Rising 8th graders to graduating seniors.
