Most of the attention goes to potential ethical issues and the impact on the labor market. But how can AI help us solve some of our societal problems? In this talk, Stefan van Duin will share a few practical, real-life examples on how AI is used to help us eat healthier, track sustainability goals, improve animal welfare and prevent deforestation.ABOUT THE SPEAKERStefan van Duin, Partner, Consulting - Technology at Deloitte is expert in the area of Data Analytics, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. He has a background in Computer Science and completed the Executive MBA at RSM/Erasmus. He helps global companies, primarily in Retail and Consumer Products, in developing and implementing their AI Strategy and deliver AI-powered business solutions. Stefan leads a team of 70 AI specialists in Deloitte Consulting in the Netherlands.ABOUT MOONSHOT THINKING EVENTS Moonshot Thinking’ is a series of monthly events organized by BIM Group at the Rotterdam School of Management in order to bring industry and research a step closer. Our speakers are thought-leaders in their respective industry sectors and each one has a unique story to tell – whether that is a groundbreaking technology they are working on, an idea they believe in, or an innovation that will reshape the world as we know it. From inspiration and knowledge sharing to prospective research project developments, we aim to inspire business leaders and researchers alike.Events are hosted at RSM, facilitating informal exchange of ideas and thoughts. Each event is an hour long, with a 45-min speech by a business leader and a 15-min interactive Q&amp;A from the audience.
