TWIN! Where have you been??

Come experience Middle TN's favorite open mic! From tear-jerking poetry to rump shaking music and everything in between, MOOD has got it all. Award-winning and nationally ranked slam poet, MAMA. is passionate about creating a space for healing and expression in Nashville, TN. There is a massive amount of talent in the city and a lack of platforms created for POC and by POC especially in the poetry community.

MOOD is where trap meets poetry. Where a poem can turn into Sunday service, into therapy. Where you have permission to be you fully and unapologetically.

This is a safe space for artists, for supporters, for allies, for us.

Pieces do not have to belong to open mic artists but we do ask they perform it like it is :)

Does it have to be memorized?

There is no pressure to gigs a full concert. Readings from phone/paper are perfectly fine.
