Free Professional Development Training for Home Visiting Staff Only
(that serve families with young children (prenatal through age five)

Staff of home visitation programs, FBBH, HFA, HIPPY, NFP, and PAT, Safe Care and Early Head Start and other home visiting programs whose PRIMARY method of service delivery to families with children (prenatal - 5 years of age) is through home visiting are also invited to attend. (PDR registered)

Teamwork Fundamentals: What Makes a Good Team Player?

12:30 PM - 2:30 PM

This training is designed to develop knowledge and skills home visiting team members and leaders need to be more effective team players and achieve greater teamwork. Participants will discover why teamwork is important and the characteristics of a great home visiting team. Then individuals will explore their own team player style and practice strategies for being the best team player they can be. Fun and interactive brain-based learning activities will be utilized to ensure that participants get the most out of this training and take the skills they learn back to the workplace.

By the end of this training, Home Visitors will:

  • Understand the benefits of teamwork in home visiting
  • Describe the characteristics of a successful team.
  • Recognize your role and strenghts as a team player.
  • Practice team player skills in a safe environment.
