Join us for an evening of laughter and storytelling! Local author and host of "The Moth," Corey Rosen, returns to Mechanic's Institute with storytellers and stand up comedians that have developed new material in his "Your Story, Well Told" workshops. Come hear stories and jokes being told for the first time. Some performers making their stage debut!

For April 24, host Corey Rosen is turning the mic over to YOU with a #StorySlam format! Come with a 5 minute story on the subject of "Outta Here!" Put your story in the hat when you arrive and Corey will pick storytellers one by one!

We'll have one featured storyteller on April 24: writer, storyteller, and performer Abbey Glover.

Mechanics' Institute Members Free; Public $5

Corey Rosen is a writer, actor, visual effects producer, and storytelling teacher based in San Francisco, California. He hosts The Moth StorySlams and GrandSlams, and has been featured on The Moth Radio Hour, Alice Radio’s “The Sarah and Vinnie Show,” and KFOG's "The Finch Files" Podcast.
