Monotype Printmaking Workshop
Create one-of-a-kind monotype prints inside of Detroit's historic Michigan Central Station!
Monoprinting is an intuitive form of printmaking that lends itself to organic, textural, and abstract shapes/layers. This process is a playful, beginner friendly way to explore the world of printmaking...all while enjoying one of the most historic spaces in the city!
During this workshop we will explore different techniques that can be used with a gel plate. Participants will receive live demo along with hands-on support throughout the experience. We will provide all the tools and supplies needed to create your own original monoprints.
