Monk Chat<h2>Monk Chat</h2>Ever met a monk in a temple or on the street but shy to interact with them? We’ve got you. We are delighted to have Lopen Lhakpa, a monk from Bhutan to join us for an informal fireside chat on Aug 1 in Sheung Wan. He has been a monk for 20 years since he was 13 years old. Lopen means respected teacher in Tibetan language since our guest is a teacher on Buddhist philosophy and meditation in a Bhutanese monastery. Your host Vicky will begin with a relaxed conversation with Lopen to learn more about his background and get the flow going. After that, the night is all yours! Feel free to ask anything you are curious about - his journey, Buddhism, meditation, or anything else! Feel his joy and compassion, learn from his wisdom, and have a genuinely joyful and meaningful night.
