About this event

  • 2 hours

We meet regularly on Mondays to study a unique subject or technique. The evening will include a review of the materials we’ll use, a simple demonstration and guidance through making a small-format painting. You are welcome to follow the directions, practice and paint along with the instruction or do your own thing. Attendees are invited to ask questions, share your work and participate fully in the workshop. You can use this series as a starting point or as a weekly inspiration for your continued painting practice.

You may join online or in-person. The format is in-person with ‘Zoom-in-the-room,’ so you will get to meet friends from other places who join us in our practice.

Each session is open to adults of all skill levels and is designed to encourage and inspire your individual painting practice. As you develop your practice in the company of others, you will find support, encouragement, inspiration and friends!

All sessions are non-linear, so you can join at any time. They are structured as an ongoing practice, so anyone can join - from beginner to experienced - we are always practicing. Inspiration for the upcoming session is emailed to all registrants ahead of time and material lists are posted on my website or in the description here.

Important: These Monday and Tuesday sessions are NEVER recorded. We have conversations, tell stories and share our work in a creative community. If you wish to participate, you must be present for the session. I am responsible for the community, and this is a promise I keep to all participants.
