1. The Core Purpose
The goal of this group is to provide a "group mind" for every problem to help you get unstuck.
2. The Golden Rules
- Confidentiality: What is said in the room stays in the room.
- Candor: We provide feedback that is both personally caring and directly challenging. No "yes-men" allowed.
- Respect Time: Each person gets the same amount of time on their problem. Do not carry your problem into another person’s turn.
3. Meeting Structure:
- Who, What, and Challenge (90 secs): Share who you are, what you do, and what challenge you are facing.
- Clarifying Questions (1 min): Group members ask questions to understand the root of the specific challenge
- Help (5 mins): Group members provide help with the problem. Experience-based feedback. Connections to help get it done.
4. How to Prepare for Your Hot Seat
To get the most out of your turn, come prepared with the following:
- Context: A brief background on the situation.
- The Specific Bottleneck: What is the one thing holding you back right now?
