Join us for our Monday fun run and a pint – Westlake Brewing Company has adopted Braindead Running Club’s Monday night social run! In the winter months, we start at 6:30pm, and in the summer (June – Sept), we start a little closer to 7:00pm to avoid some heat. Best to be here at 6:30, or check the facebook group for the exact departure time of upcoming runs.

The Braindead Running Group is a FREE local Dallas running/jogging/walking group that is definitely here to have fun. We start our runs at Westlake Brewing, and run all over Dallas. We usually run from Deep Ellum to Old East Dallas, but occasionally Klyde Warren Park, Katy Trail, and even Uptown. Come have fun and after all our hard work we have BEER!

I'm a beginning runner - can I keep up?

Absolutely! We have runners of all velocities. Also, there's no better way to gain some motivation than to run & make new running friends along the way.

Is this run EVERY week?

Yep!

Does the run happen rain or shine?

Pretty much! It's gotta get pretty rough out there for us to call it. There's usually at least a handful of runners that run no matter what!

After the run, can I hang out for a bit and socialize?

Please do! Westlake Brewing provides post-run beer for the runners.

I don't drink, can I still run?

Absolutely!

Where can I park?

Deep Ellum is a dense urban area with no dedicated parking. There is a big public garage 1 block West of us at 2700 Commerce in the "Stack". If that one is full or reserved for an event, there are many other surface lots close by. The closest lot is immediately south of us at 2880 Clover St.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes, your dog is welcome on the run! Because we have a kitchen, the City of Dallas limits us to "Service Animals" indoors, but they are always welcome inside our taproom! Our outside patio is very pet-friendly for all animals too.
