MomMentum: Mom Walk - Sandy Springs

Join us for fun-filled weekly walks throughout various locations in Sandy Springs. Our walks will be at the track at North Springs High School (Perimeter Mall on rainy days - meet at Macy's Mens entrance)! Whether you're a mom, grandma, or guardian, this event is for all the amazing women who never seem to have time for themselves. Insecurities aside, mom-bodies out, Lace up your sneakers and join us. Meet other moms in the community and enjoy some fresh air together. Let's walk, chat, and have a blast! See you there!

Note: Self-sufficient children are welcome at TRACK locations ONLY. Please bring bikes, scooters, etc. to keep them busy and limit interruptions. The overall purpose of MomMentum is to help working moms step out of motherhood and prioritize themselves. If leaving children home is an option, please do: however, we are not all afforded that luxury which is exactly why this group will welcome you and the littles with open arms.

Frequently asked questions

Can I bring my kids?

Yes, strollers and SELF-SUFFICIENT children are allowed to attend events that take place on a track. Due to safety concerns, children are not allowed to attend, walks that take place on a street, path or road.

Will the location be the same each week?

Yes, Monday walks will be held at the North Springs High School Track. Other walks in the series will be held at various locations.

Can women who are not moms attend?

The locations where we will walk are all public areas of Sandy Springs and therefore are open to use by all. These walks were designed to build bonds in relationships for mothers.

Are there other events and opportunities to meet working moms in Atlanta?

Absolutely! MomMentum is an events-based group that hosts weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual events just for moms like you! Be sure to join our Facebook group “MomMentum - Working Moms Atlanta” and click follow on Eventbrite to stay in touch with updates.

Are pets allowed?

Please limit walkers to two-legged people only.
