Join us in celebration at our 17th annual Moments of Justice Gala on October 10, 2024 at Ovation Chicago. As we lift up the 60th anniversary of Mississippi Freedom Summer and its legacy, we will honor the leadership of Black and Brown youth in organizing for healing and liberation.

We will have delicious food from Big Delicious Planet, drinks donated by Revolution Brewery and Moors Brewing Company, a cute silent auction, and of course a little dancing at the end of the night!

Help us raise $50,000 to support our programs that prepare young people to envision and organize for collective healing and liberation.

When do tickets go on sale?

Early Bird tickets go on sale August 1st. In the past we have sold out VERY quickly so be sure to get your tickets early. If Early Bird ticket purchases don't sell out the event, General Admission tickets will be on sale September 16th to October 6th.

How can I become an event sponsor?

Sponsorships are an important part of helping us raise funds for our work. We are grateful to the organizations, groups, and businesses that have sponsored us this year and in the past. You can choose a sponsorship level by clicking "Get Tickets" above and choose a level that is right for you.

How do I get there? Is there parking?

Ovation is located on Fulton St. just east of Western. Free street parking is available. Ovation is also about 3 blocks from the California stop on the Green Line and accessible on the CTA bus routes #49 (Western), #65 (Grand), and #50 (Damen)

What are the COVID precautions at MOJ

Ovation is an indoor venue. Moments of Justice is mask-optional, and there will be eating and drinking. Ceiling fans will be on, and there are several windows that we plan to open to help with ventilation.

Is Ovation wheelchair accessible?

Yes. There is a ramp to enter the space. All activities and restrooms are located on one floor.
