On June 25th, 2016, the 100 block of N. Mole Street will come alive once again with the sweet sounds of <A TARGET="_blank" HREF="http://www.molestreet.com/work/molestice/" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Molestice</A>—the FREE annual block party + music festival to celebrate the summer solstice! <A TARGET="_blank" HREF="http://molestreet.com" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Mole Street</A> is busy preparing for the free event, creating a lineup of music that begins at 12 noon and ends with a headlining performance by the Pimps of Joytime. In addition to an eclectic mix of local music, Molestice guests are in for tasty craft beers, all-ages activities and Philadelphia food truck favorites. Who knows, maybe even a surprise performance or two!

The Vision for Molestice
The vision for the future of Molestice is to activate every block of Mole Street in the city on the longest day of the year with a community music festival and cultural gathering. We want to see Molestice become what Jazz Fest is to New Orleans, taking over the city with a celebration of music, culture and camaraderie!
The History of Molestice
For over 30 years, arts enthusiasts living on the 100 block of North Mole Street have embraced the summer solstice with an all-day block party called Molestice. On the longest day of the year, the corner of Race and Mole streets in Philadelphia come alive with the sounds of melodies and smells of delicious food. In recent years, <A TARGET="_blank" HREF="http://molestreet.com" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Mole Street</A>, has produced the annual event, transforming it from a neighborhood block party to a full-scale music festival, while remaining true to its community performance roots. Mole Street's mission for Molestice is to build the Philadelphia community through music, block by block.
