What does an online attendee receive?

A certificate of attendance will be offered indicating you participated in 4 hours of professional development. The webinar will be recorded and you will receive the recording link 3-5 days after the webinar. All PDFs/Ppts will be available to attendees.

What will happen after you log into the online conference?

The webinar will show all attendees and audio will be muted during presentations. You will be able to ask presenters questions live. Please ensure your profile name on Zoom is the same as on your e-Ticket. If you arrive early, you may wait in the Waiting room until the webinar begins.

What is the format of the conference?

The June 28th webinar will be in a meeting format, so everyone will have control of their own camera and audio. Questions may be asked at the end of each presenter's session.

Organized by

Shaz Lawrence is an experienced teacher trainer and consultant. She has a Bachelor of Education, (University of Adelaide, Australia) Masters in Linguistics (University of Adelaide, Australia) and Montessori Certificate (Australian Center of Montessori Studies) and Language degrees from Beijing University, Nanjing University (China) and National Taiwan Normal University (Taiwan). She is also an artist who has had her artwork featured at a number of gallery art shows in San Francisco. Her artwork is also featured at Saatchi online website and is the founder of 'Art in the Park' - fun art sessions for kids in Queens, New York City.

She currently provides training and is a consultant to schools in the US, Ireland, Wales, Scotland, China, Australia and Hong Kong. She has been a speaker at Chinese teacher conferences in London, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Shanghai, Adelaide, San Francisco, New York, Dublin, and Malaysia.

Webinars and in-person workshops/conferences provided by Shaz are innovative and focus on the use of PBL and Inquiry-based learning to engage students in the language learning process. She also has experience and advanced skills in technology and has been a Technology trainer and Tech. Coordinator for many years.
